Request for Qualifications: Lorain County SS4A Comprehensive Safety Action Plan

Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) is looking for engineering and other professional firms and individuals to complete planning and feasibility studies as a step in refining the existing Lorain County Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), published in February 2025. This is the second Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A0 grant LCPH has received from the U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT). This grant will help implement some of the recommendations identified in the CSAP as temporary demonstration projects before permanently implementing.

Proposals are due by email to kbray@LorainCountyHealth.com no later than March 24, 2025 by 11 p.m. EDT. Proposals received after this date and time will not be considered. 

Important note:  Applicants must also examine and become familiar with the SS4A grant program requirements established by US DOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Funding for the project has been made possible through the SS4A grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by FHWA. Respondents must comply with the stated Federal Grant Requirements.
