No-cost and low-cost options for prescription medications are available for people of all ages. Call Lorain County Public Health at 440-284-3064 to talk through your options with a medication assistance counselor about the Prescription Assistance Program. We can work with you and your doctors, pharmaceutical companies, discount drug plans, and, if needed, the Prescription Assistance Program.
Call 440-284-3064 to talk with a medication assistance counselor to find out what you qualify for based on your needs. PAP can provide prescription medication at low cost to people uninsured or under-insured, people with high deductibles or co-pays, or when someone falls into the Medicare "donut hole." If you don't qualify for PAP, find more ways to save on prescription medications.
Through PAP, unused prescription medications from nursing homes, long-term care in-house pharmacies, and drug wholesalers are donated and redistributed to Ohio residents who meet specific financial requirements.
